For the Sundance film festival in 2018, I designed this demo, a very early iteration of volumetric capture. I designed the entire installation, working with an agency to build the backend of the demo, which involved using four Intel RealSense depth cameras to capture short (5 second) videos of attendees dancing. The cameras were calibrated to allow stitching to be as fast and accurate as possible. Pointclouds were stitched together in unity, and the result was exported to Sketchfab as short animations that could be shared on social media. You can read about the full project here.
